Something fresh is coming soon… stay tuned.
Oh no! Instagram is ruined! In honor of this great program, we’ve increased our default image sizes, and we plan on adding similar color controls like the ones found on Instagram (R.I.P).
Seriously? We have to be more careful with our information online! Everyone who uses Facebook and is concerned about privacy should immediately visit FB privacy settings and stop FB from using your personal information in apps you don’t even own. In the meantime, if you want to start a completely private group online - Suggest One!

Grouposts now supports anonymous posting! This allows for new activities within groups, and encourages users to be themselves and be PRIVATE most of all.
However, even though we support privacy and free speech in every way possible, there is a difference between exciting and positive content and illegal or inappropriate content. Our privacy policy and terms have been updated to reflect this. Our groups are heavily moderated, if we see something illegal or overly offensive, it will be removed. We also have a system in place to track inappropriate posts. Feel free to be yourself, but there is a limit to everything ;) As a general rule of thumb, if it’s illegal or offensive in real life, it’s probably illegal or offensive on Grouposts.
Keep it clean and have fun! Be a part of the first all private group-based social network!
So how are we different from other networks out there? Well, we’ve had that question a lot, so we would like to summarize below:
1.) Grouposts is entirely Group-based. Our aim is to create online groups that represent every real group you participate in in real life. Users do not form their own “circles” but are directed to existing groups they may already participate in in the real world.
2.) Grouposts takes privacy EXTREMELY seriously. This isn’t just our motto, it’s a way of life. For example, users are allow to join Grouposts under a pseudonym if they choose, or they may go by Anonymous User. If they choose, and only if they choose, they can reveal their name. Additionally, all privacy settings are set to MAXIMUM by default. This is the inverse of what most social networks out there do. Their motto is, “We want to open up your lives!” while ours is, “Let’s keep your private life private.” Grouposts is for those of us who wish to keep our personal information to ourselves and our private lives private. You can be yourself on Grouposts and feel 100% secure that you will remain anonymous! With Grouposts, privacy is a mindset, not a marketing ploy.
3.) Grouposts is structured more like a combination of Craigslist and Twitter than anything else. Our focus is not on sharing little pieces of information about yourself, and turning members into walking billboards. We want users to be themselves and supplement their real life activities with Grouposts. For example, with Grouposts you can buy or sell things, meet people, shout interesting localized news or gossip, share interesting ideas or stories, or express yourself or your opinions without fear of revealing everything about who you are to everyone online.
4.) Grouposts is free, and does not market your behavior to advertisers, nor will we ever.
5.) Visually, Grouposts allows users to browse content by reviewing photos. It has a much more vibrant look and feel than some other tools out there. In this day and age, we use images to assess something even before we read the caption. With Grouposts, we put the emphasis on the visual.

Sir Martin Sorrell, English businessman, CEO of WPP Group and distinguised Harvard Alumni, stated the following with regards to Facebook in the CNBC Documentary Inside Facebook:
“The big issue is privacy. I just have an inkling that closed networks, networks that are more private, that are more restricted, ultimately actually may become more interesting.”
